“Therefore, thus says the Lord God of hosts: “Because you speak this word, Behold, I will make My words in your mouth fire, And this people wood, And it shall devour them” (Jer. 5:14).
Anything you want to accomplish in life must first be accomplished through prayer. We do the asking, He does the doing, we do the binding and loosing through prayer. You are the powerhouse of prayer. Your mouth is a flame of fire. “God has put His word in your mouth, don’t stop speaking. Use it to accomplish things! Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not” (Jer. 20:9).
“Is not My word like a fire?” says the Lord, “And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces? (Jer. 23:29). Nothing can stop God’s word; it accomplishes what it sets it to do. “For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the Sower And bread to the eater, 11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent It” (Isa. 55:10-11).
