“And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins” (Mat. 1:21).
The greatest gift one can receive is the finest gift of Jesus, whose name means salvation. Do you need a saviour today? We all need an all-powerful, infinitely strong, yet deeply caring and loving helper and we have him in Christ Jesus. You see, Christ was born to die in our place and His shed blood has made once for all atonement for our sins. This has paved the way for us to enjoy the complete forgiveness of our sins and have an everlasting life.
Life is full of decisions but there is one decision that’s more important than all the others. Whether you choose to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord or not, it’s the choice that everything else in your life depends on. If you have never accepted the love and forgiveness that Jesus Christ has to offer, there is no better time than now. “What then? Are we better than they? Not at all. For we have previously charged both Jews and Greeks that they are all under sin” (Rom 3:9).
