“He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters” (Ps. 23:2).
Our yielding and cooperating are important. We shouldn’t be fighting against what God wants for us. But if we will listen to Him and follow the leading of the Spirit, and use wisdom, His influence will absolutely direct us in His way. You can say my wife, my supervisor, my teacher, my pastor, my mentor, made me the person that I’m today. They didn’t force you. They explained things to you, directed you in the right path, so you say they made me who I’m today. They didn’t force you, but they ministered to you.
God has made us who we are, but it doesn’t mean He forced us against our will. We must yield and cooperate. God has given us choices, and I pray that today you will choose right and make Him your King. You will choose to believe and follow Him. Is He your King? He cannot be anybody’s King unless He is first of all your Lord and saviour, our sacrificial lamb who died for our sin. He is not your king unless you believe in Him and follow Him. It’s one thing to say Jesus is my Lord, my king, my saviour, and my master, but it’s another to actually allow the Lord to be your king, Lord, shepherd and master.
