“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me” (John 14:1).
If you heard the word today and you see something tomorrow, make sure you don’t let what you see contradict what you heard. Else you will react according to what you see rather than what you heard. Whose report will you believe? You are sick but you heard, by His stripes I’m healed. You are facing a pandemic and you heard: “Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling” (Psalm 91:9-10).
Whose report will you believe? You heard the fruit of your womb will be blessed, but you see your children in a mess. In every person’s life right now, there is a fight or a war going on between what you see and what you have heard. Where God wants to take you, you can’t walk by sight but by faith. Step into a new venture, do what you haven’t done before. Don’t forget what He has said even if what you see contradicts or denies or refutes what He said.
