1 John 4:17 says that we are identical to Jesus in our born-again spirit: “As he is, so are we in this world.”

God is asking us to let Him live through us (Gal. 2:20). We are so honoured to represent Christ on this earth as He lives through us. Our new nature has the indwelling Holy Spirit empowering us and living through us. We are honoured for such awesome powers conferred on us and we must be careful not to receive this grace in vain. We have been empowered to play a more definitive role as we work together with the Lord to transform people. I boldly confess that “I couldn’t be more honoured to take on such a prestigious position on this earth”. What about you? All of us are going to have to play our role in this current effort to promote the gospel, and we must be ready and excited to take on the responsibility. Are you looking forward to working together with God to bring changes to your community and the world at large?

“We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain” (2 Cor. 6:1). When Christians stand for God, they will find that they’re not alone. Others, including those in all walks of life, will take notice of their light and be drawn to God and eventually stand with them. They will acknowledge all that God is doing through us and give glory to His Holy name. You can read or learn plenty of examples of people who have been where you are now and have taken the right decision not to receive the grace of God in vain and have gone on to live purposeful lives in all manner of different ways to serve God. Get inspired and look forward to living a higher life in God’s kingdom.
