Having received Christ as my personal saviour, I know that I’m a citizen of the Kingdom of God. I love it – It’s a truly great Kingdom. It has great benefits (see Psalm 103). It’s full of joy, peace in the Holy Spirit, and home to God the father, son, and Holy Spirit. But we need to ensure that we enjoy all these benefits at all times and for generations to come. In order to do this, we need to listen to God. We need to understand what God wants us to do within the Kingdom, what change He wants to see in us and society, and how we go about making that change to Change Lives of people.

“Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out and to pull down, to destroy and to throw down, to build and to plant.” (Jer. 1:9-10). We are on this earth to root out, pull down, destroy, and throw down evil and false belief systems, but it is always followed by building and planting the correct faith. We tear down in order to build. Believers have a story to tell but many are not sure how to tell people or who to tell to make meaningful change. We pray the Lord’s prayer: your Kingdom come but God’s Kingdom coming on this earth depends on you and me. The gospel of Christ has the power to transform peoples’ lives (see Rom. 1:16-17). We are to speak to people from different walks of life about the gospel, to mobilize and to start a conversation and drive change – in the life of an individual or wider society. You need to look at some of the incredible performances of God’s servants, past and present who used the gospel or are using the gospel to bring changes to society.
