“They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one” (Rom. 3:12).
You must be free of the guilt of sin if you are going to be free to become the person God wants you to be. The Bible says those without Christ are unprofitable. Let me give you a simple word equation for this.
A person + God = A whole person
A person minus God can never be whole.
That’s why people in the world are empty and not happy, there is something missing in their lives, there’s no peace, there’s no joy in their heart because a person without Christ can never be a total complete person. That’s what the Bible is saying in Romans 3:12. A sense of worth comes when I know that I belong to God. Because Jesus died for me and lives in me, I have to be worth something in His eyes. Because the Holy Spirit lives in me, energising me to do His work, there’s a sense of confidence. The Bible says “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Phil 4:13).
