Pilate therefore said to Him, “Are You a king then?” Jesus answered, “You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice” (John 18:37).
Some kings don’t give you anything. They take from you. But King Jesus wants to give you peace, abundance, forgiveness, and righteousness. Right now, He is at the door of someone’s heart knocking and seeking entry. This is the King who came from heaven to earth to reveal the father’s love and to show us the way. Follow Him and He will make you a blessing. There are blessings that are released into our lives when we really allow the Lord to be our king. He will turn you into an extraordinary person.
He said to His disciples, follow me and I will make you fishers of men. And we all know how fishermen and tax collectors, some of them illiterates, became soul winners, problem solvers and miracle workers when they followed our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. David said, the Lord is my shepherd, I will lack nothing. He makes me to lie down in green pastures. So, how does the Lord make us lie down in green pastures? How does the Lord make us into the way He wants us to be? God is not going to grab us and slam us or force us. You may say, ‘make me to be the person that you want me to be because I can’t get there on my own’. He doesn’t force you against your will.
