“Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels” (Mat. 25:41).

The lake of fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, but they are going to drag others with them because they know that’s the only way to touch the heart of God. That’s a painful moment for Jesus to see those for whom He died still going to hell, even though He had done everything that should have been done. Jesus came to do whatever had to be done but the devil is still dragging many along with him to hell. God doesn’t want anyone to die in their sin. But we are His partners. We work with God. That’s why the Bible says the Lord working with them (Mark 16:20). Once you go out in His name, He will join you.

“And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs” (Mark 16:20).

The Lord working with them, confirming the word. You will not be preaching alone; He will be there to confirm the word. While you are talking on the outside, He will be talking to them on the inside. That’s why you must be filled with the Holy Spirit so that He can work with you. We become His witnesses. Witnesses are fruit producers. Let the love of God shine through you in the little things you do. Let your light so shine. For one soul that repents, there’s joy in heaven (Luke 15:10). It doesn’t matter if your light will reach two or three people at a time, go ahead and let your light so shine. Let others see the light of Christ in you. Everywhere that God has placed you is your mission field. Everywhere you work is your mission field. God is going to use you. God is going to do big things with your life.
