“While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease.” (Gen. 8:22)
“Seedtime and harvest Shall not cease.” Your future is your harvest and it’s in your seed. Seed time applies to most of the things you are doing now. Whether you are studying, working, praying, exercising, etc. You are planting a seed. The seed you plant today will determine your future. So, we determine our future by the seeds we plant. God wants you to multiply. You are to increase in knowledge, you are to increase in wisdom, you are to increase in every area of your life, so you need to sow into your future.
Sow to the spirit because everything in the spiritual realm is what manifests into the physical. “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life” (Gal. 6:7-8). Don’t sow only to the flesh. “For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come” (1 Tim. 4:8).
