“If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land” (Isa. 1:19).
What your future holds is in God’s hands, but you have a responsibility to pursue it. There is guidance to protect your future, but you must take a personal responsibility, you must make a sensible decision about what is the right thing to do to protect your destiny. God will not withhold any good thing from those who walk uprightly. He protects our going out and our coming in even now and forever more. If only we will obey Him, we will eat the good of the land and protect our future.
Psalm 103 lists many benefits and blessings that are available to us. “Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits – who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” You wouldn’t have sickness, poverty, depression, anxiety, worry, and fear if it was just up to God because God has declared that He wants nothing but good for you. God has thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
