A time to make bold resolutions and predictions for what might unfold in the next months and years to come. Happy new year to you! Let this year be a great year for you by receiving the greatest gift from the greatest of all. Your greatest victory of this year is to say yes to Jesus Christ. Conversely, your greatest defeat of this year is to neglect such a great salvation. Christ wants to make you new in this new year.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new (2 Cor. 5:17)
He is willing to make you a brand-new person if you will allow Him to do so. If you desire to have a new life today you can surely have it through Christ our Lord and saviour. In fact, He will give you a new heart to enable you to walk in His ways. He will take your hardened, rocky heart and give you a new one.
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. (Eze. 36:26-27).
So make a resolution to seek the Lord this year. Let this year be a year where you have an intimate relationship with God. Make a decision to study God’s word this year. Make it your heart’s desire to communicate with God through prayer this year. The Bible promises that He will direct your path. Amen!
