Insightful, Biblical Devotions
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world” (1 Peter 5:8-9).
There are many people who are being continuously defeated in the same old area of their lives. Over and over again, Satan defeats them. So, I want to share with you one of the secrets to receiving the miracle power of God in your life. And that is recorded in James 4:7, “Therefore, submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you”. This is coming from the Holy Bible, James chapter four verse seven.
God wants you to make application of the truth. This is a command, and whenever God gives us a command, He gives us a command in order that we might be obedient and apply that for ourselves. Obeying God’s command is good for us, and it brings glory to Him. It’s always the best thing for us to do. Resist the devil through prayer and submission to God and he will flee from you. Resist him today and even all the time. Don’t be a victim because victory is yours.
