Insightful, Biblical Devotions
“O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears” (Psalm 34:3-4).
There are many Bible characters who overcame difficult situations by presenting their cases to the Lord in prayer. Focus on God’s Word and His promises and make them more real to you than the problems you are facing. Magnify the Lord and His word than any situation that you are in. There is nothing that God cannot do. Whenever you have a problem and you focus more on it, you become anxious, and the problem seems bigger than the power of God. See God as bigger than your problems and not the other way round.
The Psalmist says “O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears” (Psalm 34:3-4). How do you magnify God? It means make Him bigger by focusing on His greatness than the problems you’re facing. Make Him bigger in your eyes than the situation you’re going through. Some people believe the doctors report more than the power of God. But God has power to heal sicknesses and diseases. He has power to deliver you from any problem.
