“Let not the wise boast of their wisdom or the strong boast of their strength or the rich boast of their riches, ²⁴ but let the one who boasts boast about this: that they have the understanding to know me, that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight,” declares the Lord of Host” (Jer. 9:23-24).

The world is saying exactly the opposite, they are boasting in everything except knowing God. Knowing God is the greatest thing that can ever happen. It’s very important to know God. Everything that God is, and everything that God has and can do for you comes through a personal relationship with Him. You will be greatly blessed if you can get this point and place the proper value on it, and do what the Bible says about boasting in the Lord. “Let the one who boasts boast about this: that they have the understanding to know me, that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth for in these I delight,” declares the Lord”.

The NKJV says: But let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows Me, That I am the Lord, exercising loving-kindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these, I delight,” says the Lord. Glorying is to render or to magnify and put worth and value on something. If you could just start truly valuing and knowing God and understand what that does and what opportunities open to you, and if you begin to place proper value on that, it will transform your life. Reader, I assure you, this will transform your life. When God is the focus of your life, when He is the centre of everything you do, it doesn’t matter what else is going on, it just makes your life stable. It just makes you live a successful life, a life that’s at the direct centre of God’s will.
