“He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8).
God created the earth for our pleasure, but many have allowed the pleasures of this earth to take the place of things of eternal value – considering earthly things before their soul. They exchange abundant life in Jesus with the devil’s destruction. They reject the prince of peace with excuses only to find themselves being oppressed by the devil. They reject Jesus who came to destroy Satan, the destroyer, only to find themselves being destroyed by the destroyer. Don’t reject the one who came to destroy the destroyer.
“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly” (John 10:10).
What is your excuse? What is stopping you from receiving Christ? What sin in your life is holding you back? Is it lust? Is it greed? Is it pride? Is it jealousy? Is it fornication? What is it? What is holding you back in your life? Come to Jesus now. He saves all sinners including the greatest sinners. “Therefore, I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven” (Luke 7:47).
What is your excuse? You have no excuse whatsoever. You can have peace, happiness, and joy because in His presence there is fullness of joy. You don’t have to be lonely anymore. You can have someone who sits closer to you when you come to Jesus. There can be no excuse from joy, peace, and salvation. Do the right thing by accepting this great invitation to be a partaker of God’s kingdom inheritance. “He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name” (John 1:11-12).
