Insightful, Biblical Devotions
There is guidance to heaven or hell, but you take a personal responsibility, you make a sensible decision about what is the right thing to do to save your soul. “For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Mat. 16:26). Going to heaven or hell is a personal choice, but friend; since Christ says, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6), and receiving Him avoids being tormented in hell, isn’t it a wise decision to receive Him as your saviour?
Those of us who have been saved, every believer has been given the ministry of reconciliation. Let’s spread the good news to those who are perishing. You wouldn’t want your loved ones to go to hell, would you? It’s sad to see how people can reject the gift of salvation when “It is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, 28 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation” (Heb. 9:27-28).
