Insightful, Biblical Devotions
Jesus declared, strive to enter the narrow way. “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it” (Mat. 7:13). Moses also said to the Children of Israel: “I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live” (Deut. 30:19).
Receiving Christ as your Lord and personal saviour is the simplest and safest option. Jesus made it clear that anyone who refuses to receive Him is condemned already. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:18). Refusing to accept God’s gift of salvation is stepping into hell and destruction. We must put our trust in Jesus. He is the only way to Heaven. Whoever receives Christ is on the only way to heaven, and there is no turning back because Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6). So, if you are already a believer, strife to share this good news with others. Make it a point to witness about Christ to others. Let them know that there’s only one way to heaven.
