Don’t Reject The Gift Of Grace

Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people” (Heb. 2:17).

God wants us to accept Jesus’ death in exchange for our own. His death was substitutional and He will forgive us unconditionally as He draws us to Himself. People are trying much harder to make life complete. You cannot complete something when God and God alone holds the final piece of the puzzle. Let God do in your life what you cannot do for yourself. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world” (1 John 2:2).

There are two categories of people: those who have accepted the grace of God and those who have rejected the grace of God. Those of us who have accepted the grace of God have acknowledged our need of it. Those who have rejected the grace of God, in their pride say, we don’t need God. We are good enough and sufficient in ourselves. And unless a person accepts and appropriate for himself the unlimited, unconditional, unmerited grace of God, he comes to a stark realisation that he needs something from God he cannot provide for himself.
