Insightful, Biblical Devotions
“Lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices” (2 Cor. 2:11).
The devil is ready to go, but until you rebuke him, he will still be working against you. There had been many times when I just ignored negative things happening in my life, believing that God will intervene on my behalf. I just went about my daily activities because I was busy. But there came a time when I couldn’t take the situation anymore. I went to my prayer room, and let the devil know that enough was enough. I have had enough. It’s all over, devil go away from me. And straight after that, my miracle happened.
I had wondered, why did I wait so long to do what I’m authorised and commanded to do. Why didn’t I rebuke the devil long time ago? I had ignored the devil and given him a place when the Bible didn’t say ignore him but resist him. Why did I give him a place for far too long if all I had to do was to resist him by rebuking him with the sword of the spirit which is the word of God? So, don’t be ignorant of Satan’s devices, lest he will take advantage of you. Resist him, and he will flee.
