“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it” (Mat. 7:13-14 NIV).
Going to heaven or hell is a ‘personal choice’ – but God says choose heaven. What is awaiting you after you close your eyes to open them in eternity? What is awaiting you after your body returns to the dust of the earth? We live in a world of choices, and despite all of the choices and philosophies scattered about in the landscape of our day, there remains ONE important choice for every individual.
Your earthly destiny and eternal destination are determined by who and what you choose to believe. You have a choice to go to heaven or hell and make no mistake, it’s your decision and nobody can make it for you. Eternity is a breath away. Where will you spend it? It’s “A matter of personal choice,” I encourage everyone to make the conscious decision to choose heaven over hell, and as believers, we are to take an active role in witnessing to people. Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6 NIV).
