You are reading this devotional right now, aren’t you, because you found a Golden Opportunity? There’s a fantastic opportunity called TODAY. It’s available to you, of course to everyone who is alive. For many, it is yet another ordinary day to go about the daily rituals. Do the most important thing first. What if you were to die today?  It sounds frightening of course, but don’t you need to consider this? Anyone can die at any time.  Do you want proof? Look at the graveyards or cemeteries around you. According to God’s word, “And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him, He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation” (Heb. 9:27-28).

So you can see golden opportunity that it is certain that it will happen. “Behold now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation (2 Cor. 6:2). What you will gain from reading this is there is help available at this very instant for people who want to strike out, go God’s way, and become Children of God. More so than you think, in fact. Receiving Christ as your Lord and personal saviour will give you a new nature and the right standing with God. It will also offer you guidance on living a purposeful and fulfilled life. God has a master plan for your life (Eph. 2:10).
