Listen and be blessed
Our modern-day definition of following Jesus looks very different than it did with the early church. For many, we attend church occasionally for a motivational pep talk, and open up the Bible even less if we’re feeling generous. This is a far cry from the devotion Christians in the early church showed because, for them, it was a way of life. Following Jesus, who is the King of kings, is the key to living a whole Christian life.
This is a day-by-day journey, which includes relying on Him to lead the way. You see, following Jesus means a lot more than just saying you’re a follower of Christ. It means living in the shadow of His teachings and becoming like Him through change. So, will you follow the King of kings? In today’s message titled “Follow the king,” Evangelist Paul Acquah encourages you to trust your life into the hands and care of a loving God.
