Our modern-day definition of following Jesus looks very different than it did with the early church. For many, we attend church occasionally for a motivational pep talk, and open up the Bible even less if we’re feeling generous. This is a far cry from the devotion Christians in the early church showed because, for them, it was a way of life. Following Jesus, who is the King of kings, is the key to living a whole Christian life.

This is a day-by-day journey, which includes relying on Him to lead the way. You see, following Jesus means a lot more than just saying you’re a follower of Christ. It means living in the shadow of His teachings and becoming like Him through change. So, will you follow the King of kings?
