“Therefore, submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you” (James 4:7).
The way to resist the attacks of the devil is to submit to God, to hold fast the faithful word of God in unwavering faith in Jesus! Believe and dig deep into the truth of God’s word, so that you can stand firm against all attacks, and resist Satan and his demons. You can live in the victory we have in Jesus by doing just that! Don’t be complacent. Stir yourself up and resist him with the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God. If you don’t hate what he is doing, and make an attempt to resist, you will give place to the devil. The easiest way to give place to the devil is to do nothing. Don’t forget that he came to steal, kill, and destroy.
You need to get on the devil’s agenda my friend. You have to be angry with the devil with a godly anger. You have to hate what the devil is doing. He is destroying marriages, he is destroying families, he is destroying careers, he is destroying jobs, he is destroying lives. He is putting hindrances and obstacles in your way. Don’t put up with any of his devices and arguments against the word of God. The Lord has given us the ability to be angry, but it’s not meant to be used towards other people, it’s meant to be used towards the devil.
