“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers” (3 John 2).
He has given us power to acquire wealth. God wants you to prosper so He has given you power. “And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day” (Deut. 8:18). You are to live in prosperity and not poverty. He has given you power to acquire wealth so you must live in prosperity. God wants you to prosper in all things. “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers” (3 John 2). To prosper is the will of God.
How should you live in poverty if you represent the King of kings and the Lord of lords? To live in good health is the will of God. To live in peace is the will of God. To live without depression is the will of God. To have a good job is the will of God. To excel in your subjects is the will of God. To live in victory is the will of God. No weapon will be able to hurt you; you will have an answer for all who accuse you. God will defend His children and give them victory. A thousand may fall dead beside you, ten thousand all around you, but you will not be harmed. You will look and see how the wicked are punished. That’s complete victory. He prepares a table before you in the presence of your enemies. You are more than a conqueror, shout hallelujah to the Lord.
