Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need” (Heb. 4:16).
Do you want God to do something big in your life? That’s fantastic. Do you have a huge request? Is there a great challenge that you are facing? Then go to the throne of grace. Open your mouth and pray. Emergencies make us run to God and cry. But when the crisis passes, our dedication often fades. We need to make prayer our lifestyle. We must receive God’s guidance in our everyday decisions.
God has made access to His throne of Grace through Christ. The only authority and right that we have to come to the presence of God is as a result of who Christ is, what He did at Calvary, and what He did in our lives. Christ is seated at the father’s right hand, making intercession for us now. There’s no amount of work, no amount of giving, and no amount of anything that can open the door to the Father. Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6).
“Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).
