Insightful, Biblical Devotions
“And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You” (Ps. 9:10).
So how do we go about knowing God and how He operates? Compare your time with the newspapers and with the Bible. Many spend more time reading the newspapers than they do with the Bible. They spend more time reading magazines than they do with the Bible. People’s television or mobile phone use interferes with time spent with the Lord in prayer and Bible study or time spent with things of eternal value. Remember all that God has blessed you with, I ask you this question: Are you satisfied with knowing so little about Him?
He delights in us knowing Him. Let me tell you that there is nothing in this world that will satisfy you as much as knowing that you understand and know God. We have been given an amazing privilege to know Him, so spend time to enjoy His presence every day, and experience His incomparable love, experience His power, experience His wisdom, experience His protection and blessings. Spend time talking to the Lord, spend time listening to Him by studying His word, spend time seeking His direction my friend.
