There is a story in John 5:2-15, where Jesus met a disabled man who had no one to help him. Christ is the helper of the helpless. His one desire was to help, and so He healed the man who had an infirmity thirty-eight years and had waited for so long by the pool of Bethesda hoping to get help. Christ delights to have mercy on the helpless, so He singled this man out from the rest of the great multitude and healed him…

This Easter, let us be reminded about the price that Christ paid, being mindful of this sacrifice and inspired by his unconditional love and generosity.

“Jesus said . . . ‘I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in Me shall never die . . .’”
John 11:25–26 (ESV)

A day is extremely important because you become what you do every day. Your life takes on the shape of what you do every day and so your future is never going to be what you want it to be unless you start with today. Your future is never going to be what God has put into your heart unless you start moving in that direction today and continue moving in the same direction every day until you eventually get to that place…
