“If you ask anything in My name, I will do it” (John 14:14).
When you want to claim a promise from God, you must have a scripture for it. That’s the way God wants us to operate. He wants us to operate in prayer. Whatever you want to accomplish in life you have to accomplish through prayer. To accomplish things of eternal value. There are people who will accomplish things in life, but they have to be careful what they accomplish. They have to be careful what they build. They have to be careful what they produce.
“For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or straw, 13 their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work” (1 Cor. 3:11-13). The lasting things in life, is God’s people praying to Him and asking the supernatural power of God to do His great and mighty works, the things that have lasting consequences. God can do greater things for each of us that exceed what we are experiencing (Eph. 3:20). We were made for greatness.
Everyone’s work will be tried for what sort it is, not what size it is. Not everyone is expected to do something that gets the attention of the world. But we are all created by God to impact the world around us, i.e., our areas of influence. Not only do we suffer when this doesn’t happen, but so do others. Each one of us has God-given things in us that are intended for others. If we don’t reach our full potential to impact others, then those people won’t receive their miracles.
